two more fabulous months

I have not forgotten (completely) about our blog, but we've just been so busy that I never feel like I have enough time to write.  Now that it's officially been almost 2 months without an update, I think the best thing to do is share the pictures, a few highlights and try to do better next time.

Noah has continued on his quest for medallion status - we've been back to Chapel Hill for Leslie's baby shower (Noah can't wait for another friend to play with), Philly for Drew and Sayeh's wedding (thanks Grandma Bea and Grandpa Art for coming and babysitting) and to Wilmington for Jessica and Patrick's wedding (thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Thompson for babysitting all weekend and Kay for his wonderful haircut).  He has officially taken at least 22 flights over the past year, maybe more because I'm fairly certain I've forgotten one or two.  For Thanksgiving, we went back to the Highlands with Uncle Jake, Grandma Bea and Grandpa Art and Noah got to see his first snow flurries.

In addition to traveling, Noah has had a lot of fun times in Atlanta.  We've been to the Children's Museum, trick or treating, on a few play dates, to the Aquarium (with Kent, Annie, Bo and Sally), to meet Santa (twice!), to ride the Pink Pig, to chop down our own Christmas tree, to music class and to our last Play 2 Grow class (yep, it's over, so sad).  Noah has also mastered crawling when he chooses but prefers to be held and walked around.  He can pull up and walk with a walker but is still a little scared.  He especially likes to pull up on the rim of the bath tub and has on occasion launched himself out.

His favorite things right now are 'dropping' anything and saying 'uh oh', bubby (all dogs are now 'bub bub'), nibby, saying and waving 'bye bye', anything with a tag, flap books, eating and  being outside.  He can say/sign a few works - bub bub, bye bye, hi, mama, dada, all done, oh boy, book, more and please to name a few off the top of my head.

Ok so now the pictures!
